Ksenia Parkhatskaya

Ksenia Parkhatskaya is one of the most interesting and versatile of contemporary artists in the field of jazz and swing dance. She has studied competitive ballroom dancing since 1996 and modern dance since 2005. Parkhatskaya has mastered various dance genres and is familiar with authentic approaches to performance. At present she is working on modern jazz. Together with her partner, composer David Duffy, Parkhatskaya has run the Jazzcality course, which combines conventional musicianship with improvisation. She has appeared as soloist with a number of big bands and created choreographic works for TV and film. Parkhatskaya is also much in demand at many classical music festivals.
