Getting to Kuhmo

Kuhmo is located some 600 km north of the Finnish capital Helsinki, not far from the eastern frontier with Russia. The closest airport and railway station are 100 km away in the city of Kajaani, from where there is a coach connection to Kuhmo. A taxi connection (EUR 35) is available from the Kajaani Airport.
